Ultra VNC error message with latest Java 7

Problem

After downloading the latest version of Java, Ultra VNC (casaserver:5800) is not working to open a remote session of the CasaTunes server.

This is the error message in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. In Internet Explorer, the screen is blank.

Solution

1. Click the Start button, select All Programs, and click on Java.

2. Open "Configure Java".

3. Click on the Security tab, and change the security level from High to Medium.

3. Click on Edit Site list. In the Exception Site List window, click Add, and enter "http://casaserver:5800".

4. Next click on the Advanced tab and scroll down to the section titled "Perform certificate revocation checks on" and change this setting to "Do not check".

5. Restart the browser before going to "casaserver:5800" again.
